About Philips Anil Cherian
Founded by Philip Anil Cherian, a visionary entrepreneur and nature enthusiast, Elysian Fields is a private retreat blending luxury, exclusivity, and nature in the serene hills of Panchalimedu.
With a legacy in logistics, pharmaceuticals and allied distributionship, Philip’s passion for travel, farming, and sustainability led him to create this exclusive escape. His love for nature is reflected in his plantations in Ranni and Panchalimedu, cultivating more than 100 varieties of fruits, vegetables and spices.
As a passionate traveler and a globetrotter, Philip Anil Cherian has explored 40+ countries and embarked on The Great Indian Road Trip (2018), covering India by road.
In his leadership journey, he has served as:
- District President (2 terms) and State Vice President & South Zone Chairman (3 times) of All India Chemists & Druggists Association (AKCDA)
- Vice Chairman (1 term) of Chemists College of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research
- Recipient of the Kamalpatra Award from Indian Junior Chamber
- Promoter – Malarvadi Agencies & Partners Drug Links

Beyond Elysian Fields, he is developing Iaan’s Arch at Mannarmala, a private luxury service villa at The Chammudi Hills of Pathanamthitta and Elysian Gardens, in the banks of river Kakkad (an exclusive farm experience centre at Perunad, Ranni) to further his mission to vision of immersive nature experience.
The Bigfield Group is now jointly managed by his wife Jasmine Philip, his son Thanuj Cherian Philip (M.Com, MBA – Edinburgh), and his daughter-in-law Dr. Bianca Betty Babu, blessed with a grandson Iaan Philip Cherian. Behind the curtain, his daughter Dr. Tania Mariam Philip and son-in-law Sourabh Dani Saji (B.Tech, MBA) continue to support the family legacy with their guidance and presence.
